Game Day

Game Day

In the heat of victory, I asked her to be mine forever.

We'd both triumphed in our own way:

Nova broke free from her past.

I led my team to a championship and discovered life beyond the court.

Our journey to "I do" was supposed to be easy.

Except…

The hottest resort in Aspen is only available on short notice.

A new season with the Denver Kodiaks looms on the horizon.

My parents are too obsessed with my career to get to know the woman who stole my heart.

Add dueling bridesmaids, last-minute chaos, and a life-changing decision.

With love and loyalty on the line, it's time to score the most important win of our lives.

GAME DAY is a King of the Court wedding novella and should be read following Play Maker (King of the Court #3). Get ready for fun and games with Clay, Nova and all your favorite Kodiaks!

  • Loved this one

I just love Clay and Nova so much. This book was the perfect tie in to their 2 year relationship. Loved diving back into their world and reading the amazing finale to this beautiful love story. In the previous books we see the struggle and challenges they faced to get to where they are now as a couple. They never gave up on each other. They have grown so much as a couple and as individuals. They have found a home in each other. They continue to have this sparky and sizzling chemistry. It just melts off the pages. Of course we see a little bit of family drama, dueling bridesmaids, last minute wedding plans. Piper kept me on my toes, but I loved it. This book reminds me so much of Love and Basketball, so if you love that movie this series is for you. Or, If you just love a good, sassy and spicy sports romance than this is for you. Oh, and you get bonus content. So good. Loved this one.

  • After the HEA

I'm always a sucker for the epilogue at the end of books that gives you a glimpse into a wedding, birth of a child or some special extra that comes after the HFN/HEA. But when it's a whole book, or a long novella, like Game Day, I'm even more excited! I followed along with Nova and Clay's relationship journey over multiple books and was thrilled when they finally got out of their own ways and found happiness. Now it's their wedding, and while there a few small hurdles to jump over, mostly we're graced with a continuation of their love for each other and especially, Clay's devotion to his fiance. It's the perfect bit of sweetness to a couple who was so much fun to read.
