A world-renowned flower show is returning to Scotland and will celebrate the nation's remarkable art and much-loved artists.

Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh will host the UK premiere of Fleurs de Villes' Artiste exhibition. Poet Robert Burns, artist and playwright John Byrne, and legendary singer-songwriter Annie Lennox will receive floral homages in the show.

Architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, whose ties to Scotland defined his ground-breaking career, will also be honoured. As well as the 15 fresh floral mannequins, visitors will be able to explore Inverleith House and enjoy demonstrations and talks from local florists and botanical experts.

In addition, the show will also feature Allan Ramsay's surviving portrait of Jacobite hero Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie). During the opening weekend on 31 May and 1 June, two exclusive Le Soir evening events will take place with live DJ entertainment and a floral-inspired drinks menu.

Fleurs de Villes has held blockbuster exhibitions throughout the world, including in cities like Sydney, New York and Toronto. Exhibition Voyage was held at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh last year.
