Osman, is a small scale entrepreneur in a middle class neighborhood of Istanbul where he operates from a hangar transformed into an office. Recep İvedik 4

Recep Ivedik coaches the children's football team in his neighbourhood. For the training he uses the only free piece of land as the football field, on which he used to play football as a child. The Butterfly's Dream (Kelebeğin Rüyası)

It´s the first celebration day of Ramadan. Fikret, Cetin, and Ismail launch a road trip to the Merkez Mosque in Sivas. During the festivities, the son (Tarik) of Ismail, who works as an engineer abroad, suddenly appears. At breakfast Tarik reveals that the real reason for his arrival is that he needs to marry his girlfriend Nugesha. Because of a work related issue, the couple has to marry as soon as possible. Cemal Aga sinirlenip bu ülkenin otomobil bile imal edebileceğini söyler. Bir anda bu iddia ciddi bir meydan okumaya dönüşür. Paşa emrini verir. Yaklaşmakta olan Cumhuriyet Bayramı’na ilk yerli otomobil yetişecektir! Neredeyse imkansız bu görevi hem gerçekleştirebilecek hem de kabul edecek kişi aranır. Gündüz Serter’de karar kılınır. Vatana hizmet duygusuyla tereddütsüz görevi kabul eden Gündüz Bey güvendiği mühendislerden oluşan bir ekip kurar. Yaklaşık 130 günde sıfırdan bir otomobil imal edeceklerdir. Otomobilin gösterileceği 29 Ekim tarihine kadar neredeyse hiç görüşmemek üzere ailelerinden ayrılan ekip, Eskişehir’de kendilerine tahsis edilen eski bir atölyede buluşur. Araba yapmak için gerekli özel bir makine, tesisat olmadığı gibi basit bir vinç ve küçük el aletleri dışında hiçbir şeyleri yoktur. Güya devlet eliyle yapılan bu projeye Başkan dışında herkesin muhalefet ettiği buradan bile bellidir. Zaten daha proje bütçesi onaylanırken muhalifler neredeyse yarısını kırpmış, “alt tarafı bir otomobil için” 900 bin lirayı uygun görmüştür. Görünen o ki, ekibin uğraşacağı tek şey arabanın imalatı olmayacaktır. Başkanın danışmanı Sami Bey tavrını daha ilk günden koymuştur. Bir başka muhalif grup da basındır. Her gün projeyle ilgili olumsuz bir haber çıkmaktadır. “Pahalı, lüzumsuz” bu proje için kullanılan en hafif sıfatlardır. Uzun araştırmalar ve teknik toplantılardan sonra nasıl bir araba yapılacağına karar veren ekip, imalata geçtiğinde makine parkı eksikliğini fazlasıyla hisseder. Aslında arabadan önce yapılması gereken, arabayı yapacak makinelerin yapılmasıdır. Ancak buna zaman yoktur. Ekip herşeyi pratik çözümlerle, şartları zorlayarak halleder. Zaman ilerledikçe proje esnasında tanışanlar dost olurlar, birbirini tanıyanların da dostlukları pekişir. Ortak amaçları onları bir aile haline getirir. Zor şartlarda, aksiliklerle son günlere yaklaşılırken ilk arabanın marşına basılır. Bu gelişme, projeyi takip eden herkesi şaşırtmıştır. Özellikle, projeyle çok alay eden gazeteciler ve projenin gerçekleşmemesi için elinden geleni yapan Sami ve yandaşları. Uykusuz geçen son hafta ile birlikte bir araba daha imal eden ekip, ertesi gün Ankara’da Paşa’nın huzuruna çıkacak arabaları 28 Ekim gecesi trene yüklerler. Devrim, ilk ve son yolculuğuna hazırdır.
