Alert

In this New York Times bestseller, Detective Michael Bennett must race against time to save New York City from chaos by tracking down the source of two mysterious attacks.
New Yorkers aren't easily intimidated, but someone is doing their best to scare them, badly: why? After two inexplicable high-tech attacks, the city that never sleeps is on edge. Detective Michael Bennett, along with his old pal, the FBI's Emily Parker, have to catch the shadowy criminals who claim responsibility-but they're as good at concealing their identities as they are at wreaking havoc.
In the wake of a shocking assassination, Bennett begins to suspect that these mysterious events are just the prelude to the biggest threat of all. Soon he's racing against the clock, and against the most destructive enemy he's faced yet, to save his beloved city-before everyone's worst nightmare becomes a reality.

Reviews
  • “ALERT” James Patterson does it AGAIN

Once again James Patterson puts out a novel that grabs your attention from the very first page and keeps you attentive until the last page. When I read any of his novels I have to force myself to not finish the book in one night. He is a master of novel writing that makes the reader feel like they are right there experiencing everything . Truly a rare gift amongst authors.

  • Bought physical copy. Fantastic book!

I purchase a new book before every trip, so I have a way to pass the time. I enjoy the writing styles of John Grisham and James Patterson, so it caught my eye. Red the whole thing, and it's great! Definitely would recommend a physical copy (it looks great on a shelf)

Awful, awful, awful. Review by SLZ Tahoe above says it all -- well, except for the fact that this is yet another time that I'm irritated that one can't really "delete" a book on an iPad (it's always there, even when you "delete" it) because I'm embarrassed to have this in my "library."
