Worth must choose between love and profit, and Jacaranda must decide between loyalty to her family, and the love of a man who values her above all others.

Reviews
  • Worth reading

I loved the characters in this book. I also liked the humor as well as the romance

Slooooooow. It was torture to finish the book. I was very disappointed.

  • Drawn out story with a quick ending

I forced myself to finish this drawn out story that lost its momentum before halfway through because I did like the characters. But the ending seriously happened in a page. Definitely not robust enough to make you happy you finished it. Very disappointed.

Well developed characters and a nice stewiest in the plot. I will recommend this book to my friends. Plus read it again for the pleasure.

  • Not as good as her other work.

This book was pretty boring and dragged on throughout. Everything was repeated and rehashed over and over again. By the time the main "mystery" or "climax" came about, I just didn't care. Worth was an ok protagonist but I didn't care for Jacaranda much. I think I may have if the writing was more crisp and concise. The side plots could have been good but again the constant repetition made those boring as well. I would not recommend this book, especially since Burrowes's other work is so much better.
