This is not the type of book I normally read but I enjoyed it. As one would expect there was some suspense it only a hint of past romance or at least attraction. the small slight element of the female cop’s husband addiction was interesting and made the reader hope he would really get his life together.

This book was every bit as good as the first. Exceptionally hard to put down at night. I can't wait to read NYPD 3.
