  • Too many characters

There were so many people in the story I couldn’t keep track of who was who. Exceedingly confusing. Too many plots and sub plots and sub sub plots. Far too much work reading this one.

I would have liked this book but as a follower of Jesus Christ, I had a very difficult time with this read because the name of "Jesus Christ" my Savior and Lord was taken in vain over and over again. His name is dear to me. His name is "the Name above ALL Names". "Every knee is going to bow to Him and every tongue is going to confess that HE IS LORD". And one of the Ten Commandments says: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain". His Name is GLORIOUS! If you praise His Name even YOU are lifted up! No other name is like HIS! Only JESUS can save you from your fallen state. Jesus is God; the Second Person of the Trinity. I found myself praying for forgiveness for all who take Jesus Christ's name in vain and for myself for buying and reading this book.

Great read. Obvious film for a strong female lead. Hope it is made into a feature. Good twists at the end and leaves you wishing the story would continue in another book. Gifted story teller. I have produced and directed documentary films for 40 years. I found this a real joy to read.
