Torment (Carter Kids #4)

Torment (Carter Kids #4)

Danger is everywhere.
It's closing in on us.
In the midst of the blood, tears, pain, and terror, he stands before me, primed to guard, protect, and kill any enemy that threatens our family.
Our baby.
We can't see them, but we know they're out there somewhere, waiting for us, lurking, scheming. Waiting for him to make a mistake.
The stakes have been raised and all bets are off.
This has to end.
Someone is going to get hurt.
It's a dog eat dog world we're trapped in, and someone has to die.
Let's hope it's them, not us.

Torment is the fifth installment of the bestselling Carter Kids series. Due to its explicit content, bad language, fighting scenes, and graphic sexual content, Torment is recommended for mature readers of seventeen years and above.

  • Addicting Story

I was unsure what to expect when I first read the first few chapters, but I was not disappointed. This is not a 1 year or even 2 year story line. This goes on, and I love it! It doesn’t go through the typical high school to college. I like developing characters that keep my interest. I usually stop when there is closure, but there isn’t...ha! But I love it! Thank you!

  • Loved It!!!

Absolutely loved this book just like I loved the other three!!! The only thing that bothered me was that I felt there should’ve been a prologue for us readers. We need Noah and Teagan closure!!! Other than that READ THIS SERIES. I BALLED MY EYES OUT IN THIS BOOK AND THE LAST ONE. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT1!!

  • Noah Effing Messina

Although the ending seemed a little rushed and there wasn't an epilogue, this book was...ugh...I don't even have words. The conclusion to Noah and Teagan's story pulled every emotion out of me, from laughter to tears. I literally laughed out loud at parts and then was gutted and bawling my eyes out. After all of the heartbreak, they still made it...and that is the most important thing. Chloe Walsh is a brilliant writer. Every single book she writes is golden and I can't wait for the continuation with all of the Carter's. The Broken series and the Carter Kids are by far, my favorite ever. Read these books! You won't regret it.
